Hello everyone! Max here from Singapore, mainly a derpy guy who was a hardcore gamer in the Past >.< (Ragnarok online and Especially Aion Online) sadly these days i dont have the time to Play MMOS much :( . At any rate , many thanks to everyone that voted for me ~! Am very thankful that i was chosen :D! Well for me i started cosplayed back in 2009 and was tryring out different roles and chars to see what i can fit. Thou lately i have been trying out Female chars that i think i could pull off convincingly (Mainly cos there wasn't much interesting male chars for me OTL) so aye i do crossplays a lot recently XD. All in the spirit of cosplay thou :x.

Description : My all time current favourite >.< as i think i managed to pull it off well XD i followed Monty Oum ever since his Dead Fantasy days, and thus i happened to see the RWBY red trailer and i knew i just had to crossplay this Char . Also mainly cos there was no cleavage (Every trap's worse nightmare) to show XD

Description : Kirito was a char whom i felt rather atuned to mainly beause our game style and story were all too familar, Plus i have to say the novels really kept me going XD, read all the way to the latest book (12). I still have a mini-goal of cosplaying all the forms of Kirito. This form is form book 7 where everyone resides in ALO after the GGO (Gun Gale Online) Arc

Character: Big Sister

Series Name: Bioshock 2

Description: I fell in love with the Big Sister design the first time I saw it and knew I would make it one day. I had a lot of fun working out how to make everything whilst keeping it safe. I ended up using upholstery fabric for all the leather like pieces and my sewing machine hated me for it. The helmet and chest piece is mainly a mixture of paper-mache, foam and plaster bandages. The rest of the armour mainly consists of cardboard, plastic, foam and Worbla. The only real metal in this costume is the buckles and the nut and bolts used to attach the leg braces

Character: Female Barbarian

Series Name: Diablo 3

Description: I love all the different designs of the barbarians in Diablo 3 but my final decision was based on the fact that I really wanted to try my hand at using Scale mail. Seeing as most of my budget was spent on shipping the scales to New Zealand I used EVA foam to create the rest of the armour. I had a lot of fun wearing this costume and always enjoy a good excuse to pull silly faces.

Series Name: Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle

Description: The first time I saw this dress design I knew I wanted to make it one day. The patterns were created in Photoshop then printed out to scale so I could trace around them on the skirts. All of the gold is hand pressed foil that took far too much time and left me with an extremely sore back. The head piece was also quite time consuming as all the beads we sewn on individually.

I started Cosplaying in 2011 because i loved making costumes, this hobby didn’t take long for me to realise that not many people in my country Cosplay, so i decided to represent India in leading conventions which just emerged 2years back. Resources for Cosplay are not easily available here, so in case of wigs i have to order them online rest i have to search in local market to its core in order to find cheap stuff (since i am a student ,i cannot afford to buy expensive stuff at all).All this for my Passion to make Costume and Cosplay my favourite characters. I hope People acknowledge me as a Good Cosplayer in my country Where the Cosplay Culture is just in its initials.

Character: Erza Scarlet

Series Name: Fairy Tail

Description:Erza Scarlet is an S-Class Mage of Fairy Tail who is famous for her usage of Re-quip Magic. She is also a member of Team Natsu, as well as one of the main female protagonists of the Anime series. This Armour is the Lightning Empress Armour which has ability to control lightning .I love armors of erza, so I decided to Cosplay it. I worked on the costume for around 15 days in order to get good results. It was my first armored Cosplay and yes I love it .

Series Name: Bakemonogatari

Description: Hitagi Senjougahara is a third-year student of Naoetsu Private High School. She is considered to be a frail-looking girl with an “incurable disease” and is distant towards others. Hitagi’s Costume is a simple High school uniform which was easy to be made. EASY TO CUT AND SEW, just trace the Pattern and Stitch (I reused the wig from a previous Cosplay).i had great fun posing for the photos, Cosplaying is awesome.

Series Name: BioShock Infinite

Description: Elizabeth/Anna DeWitt is a character from a very popular game launched in 2013-BioShock Infinite. Elizabeth has the power to manipulate Tears that exist in the fabric of time. This was the first time i made a corset. It took me entire two days to finish it from the scratch and the results were great. This costume required good stitching skills, because making a corset is not at all easy (that’s what i learned after making it, so thanks eliz for teaching me this)

Description: When I heard the song ‘Matryoshka’, I fell in love with how crazy it sounded. It was just so much fun that I couldn’t resist cosplaying it. When I finally did, I tried to act as crazy and happy as the song. I like how this photo turned out, even though the pose was relatively difficult. The vibrant colors give it so much life.

Description: I had so much fun playing the game, and I fell in love with this version of Chizuru. This photo was taken last Fantasy Quest 3. Planning the character wasn’t easy, as there was so much detail I had to pay attention to. But I’m happy with how this cosplay turned out, and all the hard efforts were worth it in the end.

Series Name: Black Rock Shooter (Huke’s Original Character)

Description: I had fun making Dragon Slayer’s armor parts with my brother, and I’m happy that it turned out really well. I had a bit of difficulty in portraying a character that’s expressionless, since my initial urge is to smile whenever a camera is pointed at me. But after weeks of practicing in the mirror, I was able to stay in character and have this shot taken last Ozine Fest.

Description: I’ve read this manga since I was in elementary school. The character Athena has made a huge impression in my heart. She’s Athena reincarnation, she always worries about the Saint Seyas and her people, she’s willing to give herself to Hades in exchange for the Earth’s peace, that’s what I love most about her.


I made Athena’s costume in a very short time, probably the shortest time I’ve ever done. The hardest part was the wings and the staff. Even though it’s not perfect, but I’ve done my best. I hope I could have your support.

Description: SnK is a great manga, and the anime version is even more well-buffed with all the special effects and motions. Hanji Zoe is the character that impressed me a lot. Description: I have been so happy that I could cosplay my favourite character, Asuna, more than 3 times. Every time I wore her costume I wanted to cosplay her one more times with better photoshoot. I and my friends set up this simple shoot but the result surprised me. I had her base costume tailored and I decored the details. When I did this pose, suddenly a wind came and my friend Shad captured that wonderful moment. Yes, this is my Asuna, soft and gently but powerful.

Description: I and my friends had fun when we were doing this photoshoot. We set up the lights by using 2 flashes and 2 colored plastic papers. After watched the anime, I asked my sister Meiji-chan for cosplaying my twin sister. This might be the first times that I cosplayed that ‘sexy’ and kinda crazy character like Junko, hehe.

A Little About Me

Its really great to be back on the Otaku House Idol Asia Pacific Finals. This would be my 3rd time in a row and I really want to thank the voters for the support again and again. I wish i had more epic cosplays to share. For now, i just finished a Tekken and Free! photoshoot as Marshall Law and Makoto Tachibana respectively. I should be able to share them on my page, https://www.facebook.com/Lilaeroplane , in a couple of weeks. I’m also working on completing the wings for my Saint Seiya costume, Saggitarious Aiolos (i’m about 1/4 done with the wings, u can see me in the rest of the gold armor on my page too). I SHOULD be starting work on Masrur from Magi and hopefully another League of Legends costume shortly, both hopefully done by year end (Magi is one of my favourite anime right now). Will also be getting a King of Fighters shoot next month. busy busy. :P i’m excited. :P

Character: Motochika Chosokabe

Series: Sengoku Basara

Description: Motochika is one of my earliest cosplay.. and quite possibly the most expensive (embroidered silk making up the bulk of the cost). Considering my lack of experience in making props back then, I’d like to think I did a pretty decent job. It was my first completely self made costume (I don’t really do my own sewing nor do I weave my own wigs but I picked the clothes and styled the wig myself.) most of the armor pieces and the scales on the handle of the anchor is made out of 2mm craft foam. The anchor is mostly made out of mounting board and I used a PVC pipe for the shaft. The ring on the anchor, not visible in the picture, and the dome shape at the end of the handle is made out of styrofoam (and paper mache). I hope aniki didn’t disappoint.

Description: Dōmō Haadogei des!!! FOOoooo!!! Hard Gay aka Hādo Gei, was a japanese wrestler, Masaki Sumitani, turned comedian. The character was first intruduced in 2002 as a comedian and he got really popular for his outrageous antics. If you havent seen his shows before, simply youtube search and you will find many episodes to watch. My favourite episode is one of him shamelessly requesting the Tomy toy company to make a toy of him. This costume has to be definitely the most fun cosplay i’ve ever done. I also fitted in a small mini-speakers (placed near my crotch) connected to a ipod which would play his theme song, Livin La Vida Loca by Ricky Martins. /does pelvic hip thrusts

Description: “…whatever life holds in store for me, i will never forget these words.. “with great power, comes great responsibliity”. This is my gift, my curse… Who am i? I’m Spiderman!”Another cosplay that i really love, Spiderman. And the kids really love Spidey too. Quite often, i get approached by kids who would give me a heart warming hug and shake my hand. I’ve been to children’s parties and charity events as Spidey and i have to say, watching the faces on the kids, this is clearly the most rewarding cosplay i’ve done. I also particularly love doing spidey poses. They are simply so dynamic and challenging to do. My name is Melanie, I started cosplaying since 2010, I know it’s recient but during this time I adquiried experience and an special care of details, I don’t know if being perfectionist is a good or bad characteristic but is part of me and one of the elements that borught me here, I think… About my works in cosplay.. I prefer kuudere charcaters because their personality is simililar to mine and I can represnet them better but anyway, I do my best for every character I cosplay, even If they are the opposite, for example, Haruhi Suzumiya. Another thing about me is that like challenges which leads me to make complicated or heavy costumes that I enjoy constructing, because is funny. Series Name: Angel Beats

Description: She is one of the students of the Afterlife school and the said school’s Student Council President. She is also referred to as Angel by the Afterlife war front, a nickname coined by Hideki Hinata and later used by the group’s leader Yuri Nakamura to refer to her after discovering her unusual abilities. As the school’s Student Council President, Kanade is tasked with the responsibility of ensuring that the students are able to cope with their personal problems. This eventually clashes with Yuri’s determination to blame God for her hardships in life, and she becomes the target of the Afterlife War Front when it was founded.

Series Name: Vocaloid

Description: Hatsune Miku itself is a voicebank for the vocaloid aplication and adquires a personality based on the song she is singing. In this case, in Romeo and Cinderella, she is a girl that maintains a hiden relation with a boy. Miku talks about how his relationship is similar to that of Romeo and Juliet as their lies consume it slowly, but doesn’t want their romance to end in tragedy, so she asks her Romeo to rescue her. She wants a happy ending just like Cinderella had.

I’ve been around 10 years dedicating myself to this hobby and I love it. I usually don’t participate in competitions in my country because I think the main reason was lost: fun. I love learning new techniques for making cosplay. I love video games and my favourite series is Digimon (left classified with a Digimon cosplay above). Series Name: Tiger & Bunny

Description: My last crossplay and, definitely, my favorite one. Barnaby is a character very close to me, fairly quiet (with personal issues) and solitary. He is always correct and always persevering, besides being straightforward, which brings problems with Tiger. In a way, I see reflected a part of my personality inside him (which helps in the interpretion). Plus, he is a loner sorrounded by many people, which is always good to have.

Description: Hanji is my fujoshi part, she and Levi (his friend). I see it reflected on me with my best friend. He is very similar to Levi and I’m to Hanji. It’s like seeing our reflections. Besides being a scientific, we were wondering whter it was a guy or a girl. This reminds of me from when i cut my hair and people ask me the same.

Since 2009 a different world open it door in front of me. At the beginning it was hard , all the stuff to find the correct elements for make cosplay unique. All that little things since the cosplay makeup to find the ideal wig but, since time past I learn a lot, since make little accessories to create big armors. Hello there! I´m Dalin, i´m an university student, and i love cosplay. I think that cosplay is such a beautiful and healthy hobby, and it let me make a lot of really important friends. I watch anime, read manga and play video games since i was a little girl, and i started cosplaying 4 years ago. I have had the opportunities to be judge in a lot of cosplay contest around my country, and in the past summer i traveled to Costa Rica, that was a invaluable experience.

A Little About Me

Hello everybody, my name is Paula, sometimes I’m called by Cereza or Thecrystalshoe, wich is my deviantart account. I’m an actual graphic design student, I’ve a degree on digital retouch and manipulation and I cosplay as a hobby. I started a few years ago, I’m still learning stuff and I think I will never stop learning. I orientate this hobby specially to photography and productions, which is what I love as well.


I’m very into the twisted minded characters more than anything, they are more of a challenge to me. But I do also love playing some classic characters of my childhood ! I do a little bit of everything, games, movies, comics, etc.

Description: I’m a big fan of the Bioshock series, I belive the little ones to be the essence of the games, the importance of children is very strong, they are the main source of the most desirable thing that keeps everything moving on Rapture. This costume was made in a single day and the ADAM syringe was handmade by myself, it has a red led light inside the baby bottle trying to get the look of the original syringe on the game.

Series: Alice Madness Returns

Description: I love the classic Lewis Carroll’s Alice in wonderland and the American Mcgee Alice games. I dig the twisted, crazy and macabre, and this is one of the characters that represent all those qualities. On the other hand, this one of my favorite dresses of the second game. It took me about 4 days and it’s made of almost 70 meters of ribbons, i’m really in love with it <3 It was made over a year ago and it is still on my favorite list !

Description: This is a costume based on the steampunk/victorian drawings made by the artist Noflutter. Harley Quinn is my top favorite character of the dc universe, I have made 5 costumes of her so far and I never get tired of her. I made this costume last year, it was the first time I did a corset but I believe it went pretty nice ! This is a photo taken a month ago, when I decided to use again after a year of using it for the first time !

Description: Maybe I need a better hat and coat, this character I’m improving little by little. I base it on the character of the comic. Right now I’m making the hat and coat, but I ran out of time to finish it and send it to Otaku House, maybe for next time. The GuyFawkes mask was a homemade fiberglass mask.

Description:This is my different version of V for Vendetta, a version half white and half black. Because V was designed to be morally ambiguous at the same time, so that readers could decide for themselves whether he was a hero fighting for a cause or simply insane villain. Some days I feel so identified that I go out with this suit, but without the fiberglass mask.
